Последние новости вокруг iWatch, говорят нам о том, что Apple отгрузит в этом году только 3 млн устройств. Аналитик Мин-Чи Куо, говорит, что прогноз относительно продаж iWatch в этом году (от 5 до 10 млн), сильно преувеличены. - говорится в новом докладе от AppleInsider.
"Ожидается что производство будет перенесено на сентябрь-второй половины ноября, в результате будет произведено гораздо меньше количества, чем планировалось ранее" - говорится в докладе. Такой короткий срок, побудило Куо снизить прогнозируемые планы сборки с 5 млн единиц в этом году до 3 млн.
Предполагается, что Куо возлагает всю вину по вопросу цепочки поставок сапфирового дисплея. Недопоставка такого компонента может стать причиной отказа от сапфирового дисплея и заменой его на более простую стеклянную поверхность, вероятнее всего на Gorilla Glass.
Ранее появлялась информация о том, что у Apple изменились прогнозы относительно дохода в 3 квартале, часть которых перейдет на 4 квартал. Первоначально, предполагалась запустить SmartWatch от Apple в 3 квартале, но этого не произошло, что видимо и стало решением пересмотреть прогнозы по доходам.
А совсем недавно появились слухи, что Apple перенесет анонс iWatch с 14 октября на ноябрь.
